Playa Blanca
The Villa is a just a short drive (and 20 minute walk) from the town beach and also the Dorada beach. The beautiful Pappagayo beaches are totally unspoiled and are set in a national park area, you can drive on a dirt road to the Pappagayo beaches but it is a pleasant walk along the coast, approximately 45 minute walk from the town .As you walk along the wonderful promenade at the sea front you can eat and drink in many of the top quality bars and restaurants.
There are currently two 18 hole golf courses in Lanzarote, the nearest one is located in Tias only 30 minute drive from Playa Blanca. N.B. Playa Blanca has a Pitch and Putt course located on the promenade close to the Marina Rubicon.
How to get there
Arrecife airport is the only airport in Lanzarote their are regular flights from most international airports .
A taxi from the airport to the house in Playa Blanca will cost around €45 (good taxi service). you should pay no more than 5 Euro for a taxi to or from the villa to the town centre.
Car hire is very reasonable and is recommended for a standard car it is between 100 to 140 Euros (depending on the time of year).link Airport transfers & Car hire 
A short drive our walk to Playa Blanca, you can find some of the most renowned sites on the island. Timanfaya National Park, La Geria, Janubio salt flats, El Golfo (the green lagoon), Los Hervideros or the charming village of Yaiza. You can also visit the village of Las Breñas, where you can enjoy the spectacular panorama of Playa Blanca with Fuerteventura Island in the distance.
From Playa Blanca you can ferry across to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura which takes 25 to 35 minutes,

There are a host of things to do in Playa Blanca While you can eat and drink in many of the top quality bars and restaurants (which Playa Blanca is renowned for) the night life would not be as riotous as it is in other resorts on the Island, however there are a number of excellent entertainment bars.
The Marina Rubicon If you want a quiet drink or something to eat... then head over any time except for Wednesday and Saturday mornings... as that is when the market is on. Favourite spots in the Marina are One Bar, Blue Note, and to sit on the far sea wall at the end of the jetty.,
